How secure are the sites in the Dollie Cloud?
Dollie takes security very seriously, implementing active and passive measures to stop attacks and malicious intent in its tracks. We detect attacks as they happen and proactively stop malicious code from entering our network.
We are extremely confident in the security of our platform, but that does not protect you from human errors, like you – or a site admin – forgetting to logout from a public computer, or logging in from an unsecured WIFI network.
As a Dollie partner we advise you to take security seriously. Strongly recommending your staff, yourself and your customers to use strong passwords, two-factor verification, and other best practices.
In case the worst happens you should know that every site is backed up on a daily basis, meaning a hacked or defaced site can be instantly rolled back if needed.You can even increase the frequency in which these are taken by talking to our team directly (this will increase your costs per container). You could backup every 6 hours or even every hour. For high-traffic or dynamic sites, this can bring peace of mind knowing you roll back your site at a moment's notice without data loss.
